To choose the right size, do this : Measure your foot. Place your heel against a wall and measure to the longest toe. This is your foot measurement. Add 0.8-1.5 cm to this measurement to know which size to choose. Check the size chart below.
Example: Your foot measurement is 25.5 cm. Choose size 41 (26.5 cm) and you will have 1 cm extra.
These measurements have been checked by us at Widetoes:
Size: inner sole dimensions in length / width
Material:
Upper: Waterproof, durable, and breathable mesh
Lining: Textile
Outsole: Michelin rubber with deep grooves
What we love about these shoes:
Wide toe box
Flat and flexible sole, zero-drop sole
Incredibly low shoe weight!
Grip-friendly outsole
Fit and size advice:
Slightly small in size in the smaller sizes - check the size chart before purchase.
Sole width: normal width
Volume: Spacious
Thanks to the spacious volume, the shoes are very suitable even for wide or high feet. The lacing that goes far down allows you to adjust the fit well even for narrow or low feet.
Feel on the foot:
You instantly feel that this shoe has a good grip. The shoes are light on the foot! Fanny has a wide and high foot, she usually uses size 40 in her shoes, and size 40 fits really well in this model too. Erika has a wide but fairly low foot. She usually wears size 38 in her shoes. In this model, size 38 fits in volume but is too small in length. This confirms the information above, that the smaller sizes run small, so you need to check the size chart before purchase!
Xero Shoes Scrambler Mid is a barefoot shoe for forest walks and other activities where you need good grip for terrain. The special feature of the Scrambler Mid is the outsole, which is made of Michelin rubber and has a really good grip even in the toughest terrain! The shoe has an extremely low shoe weight, and combined with the thin sole, you get an incredibly comfortable barefoot feel in these shoes. The outsole has a thickness of about 4 mm plus grooves, and the removable insole is about 3.5 mm, which you can remove if you want an even thinner shoe. The ground feel in the shoes is good but they feel slightly more cushioned than the thinnest barefoot shoes on the market.
