Our Story

Widetoes was founded by Lina Björkskog, the physiotherapist, personal trainer, and nutrition coach known from the swedish Lina’s Training Blog.

The idea for Widetoes was born from Lina’s passion for barefoot shoes and their positive effects on foot health.

With years of research and testing, Lina has carefully selected the best products to help your feet feel better.

At home in Jakobstad, Finland, Lina and her husband Jonathan make sure both the webshop and the physical store run smoothly. Their three children help out by testing which barefoot shoes are the fastest and most fun!

Our Store in Jakobstad

In addition to our online store, we have a physical shop connected to our warehouse in Jakobstad, Ostrobothnia. Here, you can try on and purchase barefoot shoes, wide-fit shoes, and ergonomic products. Our knowledgeable staff will help you find the products that suit your needs. Since the warehouse and store are in the same building, you can try our full range of products on-site. The store is located in the same building as S-market, with entrance through the S-market doors.

Our Storage in Sweden

In spring 2025, we opened a new warehouse in southern Sweden to speed up deliveries of all Swedish orders, as well as orders heading south into Europe. This means that many of our Swedish customers can receive their items the day after ordering – a goal we've had for a long time! We now have two warehouses, and depending on where the item is located, it may be shipped from either one. Items are always shipped primarily from the warehouse closest to you to ensure fast delivery and reduce environmental impact.
