Xero Shoes Mesa Trail II is a barefoot shoe designed for trail running, forest walks, and other activities where you need good grip for challenging terrain. The outsole is made of FeelTrue™ rubber with 3.5 millimeter deep grooves. Inside the shoe, there is a layer of TrailFoam™ with 3.5 mm that feels comfortable even in difficult terrain. If you want a barefoot feeling, you can remove the 2 mm insole, and if you want more cushioning, you can leave it in.
The upper side of the shoe is made from ventilated mesh, efficiently wicking away moisture during your workouts. The Mesa Trail II is an improved version with reinforcements on the inside, outside, and toe box to withstand more wear and tear. The improved version II is also slightly lighter than its predecessor.
Xero Shoes Mesa Trail II has a wide toe box that allows toes to spread out. The sole is completely flat with 0 drop from heel to toe. The sole is flexible, providing good ground contact while running, yet offers enough protection to handle even difficult terrain.
