Vivobarefoot Gobi II Sneaker Leather is a classic sneaker for anyone who wants their feet to feel free all day. The foot-shaped design gives the toes room to move naturally, while the thin, flexible sole helps create close contact with the ground. A clean everyday sneaker with a barefoot feel, designed for natural movement.
The shoe feels soft and natural against the foot and can absorb and release moisture thanks to the properties of the leather. This makes it comfortable both with and without socks, while the material gradually moulds to the shape of your foot over time.
NOTE! Always check the size chart before purchasing to reduce returns and help protect the environment.
Please note that Primus Trail is available in men's and women's models. The only difference is that the women's model is slightly narrower while the men's model is slightly wider. Men with narrow feet can therefore choose the women's model and women with wide feet the men's model.
To choose the right size, do this : Measure your foot. Place your heel against a wall and measure to the longest toe. This is your foot size. Add 0.6-1.5 cm to this measurement to know which size to choose. Keep in mind that when you exercise in the shoes, your feet get warm and swell a little, so choose closer to 1 cm extra, or slightly more. Feel on the foot:
Leslie has a 25 cm long foot that is wide and medium in height. He tries the Gobi Sneaker II in size 41 and feels that the shoe fits very well. It sits securely around the whole foot, while the toe box gives the toes plenty of space. On his foot, the fit feels well balanced: stable around the heel and midfoot, but still roomy at the front. Leslie describes the shoe as light and thin, but slightly stiff when new. Based on previous experience with Vivobarefoot shoes, the leather is expected to soften with wear.
Joas has a 27.8 cm long foot that is narrow and low in volume. He tries the Gobi Sneaker II in size 45. The length feels good, but the shoe is slightly roomy over the foot. Because his midfoot is both narrow and low, he does not quite fill out the model, which means the foot can move a little inside the shoe. For Joas, the size therefore works well in length, but the fit does not quite provide the midfoot stability he needs.
Care instructions:
To make the leather more water-repellent, you can also treat the shoe with a protective spray, such as Collonil Organic Cover. Brush off mud and clean with a dry cloth. Let the shoe dry at room temperature and avoid direct sunlight or radiators when drying. Also avoid sun exposure during storage.
The shoe is made in Vietnam and consists of 98% natural materials. The outsole is made from 100% natural rubber and developed in collaboration with NFW.
