Greta, who has a foot length of 17.4 cm, normal-width feet and normal foot volume, tries the Viking Alv Barefoot Paw Print in both size 28 and 29. Size 28 is a little difficult to get on, which suggests that the opening or the passage over the foot may feel slightly snug for her foot volume. Once the shoe is on, Greta herself feels that it fits well.
Size 29 works better in practice because it is easier to get onto the foot. It can also be tightened around the calf using the drawstring at the shaft, which helps keep the shoe in place despite the larger size. For Greta’s foot, size 29 is therefore the more user-friendly choice.
