Fit:

• NOTE! The lined version has a thick lambswool lining, which naturally takes up space in both width and volume, so the fit is slightly smaller.

On-foot feel:

• The shoes are made from incredibly soft leather, and the high quality is immediately noticeable when you put them on. Fanny has high and wide feet, and the shoes feel comfortable on her feet. There are no seams pressing across the instep. The lined version is a bit difficult for her to get on due to her high instep, but once on, it fits really comfortably. She feels that the shaped insole is quite noticeable in the unlined model, but in the lined version, the “shaping” isn’t as noticeable. Victoria has wide and low-volume feet, and for her, the shoes fit perfectly. She would size up in the lined version to allow more space and airflow around the foot, which also helps the shoe retain warmth better. Victoria loves this model and would’ve happily walked out wearing the shoes.

• The outsole is thin and flexible with a 4 mm drop, while the contoured footbed feels more supportive. Tip! If you prefer a more barefoot-like feel, you can replace the insole with a thinner one – this also gives extra room if the shoe feels tight across the instep.

Care instructions

To keep your VIBAe shoes looking and feeling great for a long time, we recommend , according to VIBAe´s recommendations:

• Protection from dirt and moisture: Treat with a water-repellent spray. We recommend Collonil Organic Cover – an effective, eco-friendly spray that protects without blocking the leather’s natural breathability.

• Leather care: When the leather feels dry or needs nourishment, use a quality leather conditioner. Collonil Organic Care is both effective and gentle. Beeswax, such as Kållby Honung Beeswax, can also be used, but note that it will darken the leather.

• Carbon Step™ footbed: The antimicrobial footbed does not need washing. If you still wish to freshen it up, the cover can be gently hand-washed with mild soap and water.
