Feel on the foot:

Heidi, who has a foot length of 24.5 cm, wide feet and high foot volume, tries size 39. The length feels good, but the shoe is a little too low over the midfoot and forefoot for her high foot volume, even after adjusting the laces. The heel is high, but she does not feel that it rubs.

Victoria, who has a foot length of 25 cm, wide feet and low foot volume, tries size 40. She finds that the shoe has a soft and comfortable lining, as well as a soft, pleasant sole. The heel is high but does not rub thanks to the soft material. However, the shoe creases over the toes and presses when stepping, although the material may soften over time.

Hanna, who has a foot length of 24.5 cm, normal-width feet and medium foot volume, tries size 39. She finds the fit stable, with a roomy toe box and a good feel around the foot. However, the material over the forefoot does not give very much when walking. As an experienced barefoot-shoe user, she prefers the shoe without the insole for better ground contact.

Summary: Skinners Wanderer II is a stable, softly lined model with a roomy toe box, but with lower volume over the forefoot and midfoot than the Wanderer. It is best suited to normal-width to wide feet with low to medium foot volume. For high-volume feet, it may feel too low.

Care instructions:

• Clean the shoes with a soft brush or a damp cloth. Wipe them dry thoroughly afterwards. To extend the life of the shoes and protect them from dirt and moisture, we recommend regularly using a waterproofing spray, such as Collonil Organic Cover.
