ReimaTec Viikari is a lightweight and flexible barefoot shoe for kids, designed to support natural movement and maximum comfort. The wide fit gives plenty of space for little toes, while the soft, grippy sole moves smoothly with every step. A water-repellent ReimaTec membrane keeps feet dry, and convenient hook-and-loop straps make the shoes easy to put on and take off.

Measure your foot by placing your heel against the wall. Put your full weight on your foot and measure from the wall to the longest toe. Add 1 - 1.7 cm extra space in the shoes to get the correct size. Follow the size chart's sizing instructions.

Feel on the foot
- Soft and skin-friendly materials! A truly comfortable shoe with excellent grip and ground feel. Roomy in both length and height – many may find going one size down provides a better fit.
- The shoes are spacious in length and height, with a fit that suits most children. They are of normal width in the last but have generous volume in height, making them suitable for low, normal, or high insteps. They are roomy over the instep but can be adjusted well thanks to the Velcro/laces. Arthur has a normal-width foot that is rather low, and for him the shoes feel roomy over the instep, but he likes the fit and tightens the Velcro a bit more. His usual size is 31, and he can wear size 31 in these as well.
Size guide
- Reima Viikari barefoot shoes are available in sizes 22–31. For older kids, the equivalent model Reima Sankari is available in sizes 32–40. We recommend measuring your child’s foot and comparing it with the size chart to find the best fit. If you're unsure between two sizes, opt for the larger one to allow space for socks and growing feet.
Care instructions
- To keep the shoes in good condition, brush or wipe off dirt and let them dry at room temperature. Avoid exposing the shoes to extreme heat or direct sunlight for extended periods, as this can damage the materials and affect performance.
- Treat the shoes regularly with a protective spray to repel dirt and help maintain the water-repellent membrane – for example, this from Collonil is a great option.
