Reima ReimaTEC Tallustelu is an award-winning barefoot shoe for children and adults who want to move naturally in all kinds of weather. It has a wide last that gives the toes plenty of room to spread out, along with a completely flat, thin and flexible sole that helps strengthen the foot’s own muscles and provides excellent ground feel.
The waterproof construction makes the shoe practical for changeable weather, while the removable insole and elastic lacing make it easy and comfortable to use. The shoe is also approved by the APMA, meaning it has been developed with a focus on good foot health, comfort and natural development for growing feet.

Feel on the foot:
Nike, who has a foot length of 19.9 cm, a wide foot and average foot volume, tries the Reima Tallustelu in size 32. The shoe was a little difficult for her to get on at first, which suggests that the opening or entry may feel slightly tight for a wider child’s foot. Once the shoe was on, however, she found it very comfortable. It provided plenty of space around the forefoot and toes without pressing anywhere, while still holding the rest of the foot securely in place.
Greta, who has a foot length of 17.4 cm, an average-width foot and average foot volume, tries the Reima Tallustelu in size 29. She was able to put the shoe on relatively easily and experienced the same roomy feeling at the front as Nike. The toe box provided good space in both length and width, while the shoe wrapped around the foot and kept it stable. For Greta’s average-width foot, the model therefore worked well, with a secure fit that did not feel tight.
Care instructions:
The shoe is made without animal-derived materials.
