Merrell Vapor Glove 7 Leather is a lightweight and flexible barefoot shoe for those who want to move naturally with maximum ground feel. The shoes feature a soft leather upper, while the Vibram® outsole delivers reliable grip on both dry and wet surfaces. Merrell Vapor Glove 7 is available in both women’s and men’s versions.
To choose the right size, do this : Measure your foot. Place your heel against a wall and measure to the longest toe. This is your foot measurement. Add 0.8-1.5 cm to this measurement to know which size to choose. Check the size chart below.

What we like about these shoes:

Fit and sizing advice:
- Width: Suitable for narrow to wide feet.
- Volume: Suitable for low to medium-high volume feet.
- Size: Runs slightly small. These differ from the measurements in the Vapor Glove 6 Leather, so please check the size chart before buying.
How it feels on the foot:
- Victoria, who has a wide foot with low volume and a foot length of 25.4 cm, finds size 41 a good fit. The shoe fits close to the foot, but because it is so soft, it still gives the toes room without squeezing them together. Around the ankle and heel, it feels stable without slipping, which gives a secure feeling. The lacing also allows the fit to be adjusted to lower volume feet.
- Hanna, who has a medium-width foot with normal volume and a foot length of 24.5 cm, finds size 40 fits well and feels right in length. Overall, she finds the shoe comfortable and has no real concerns about the fit, apart from noticing that the model feels slightly shaped through the arch. For a foot with normal width and volume, the model therefore seems to work well and provide a good, close fit.
- Heidi, who also has a foot length of 24.5 cm but a wide and high-volume foot, finds size 40 good in length but says the shoe presses against the little toe. This suggests that the model is slightly too narrow in the forefoot for broader feet combined with higher volume. For that foot type, the fit may therefore feel more restrictive, even though the shoe fits well otherwise.
Care instructions:
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth and treat regularly with Collonil Organic Cover to give the shoes some protection against dirt and moisture.
