The wide toe box gives your toes plenty of room to move naturally. Although the sole visually gives the impression of being higher, the shoe has a thin zero drop sole that provides close ground contact, a natural step and a genuine barefoot feel. On-foot feel:
Tilda has a standard-width foot with average volume and found that Helena Suede felt comfortable right away, with a roomy toe box and a heel that holds well without pinching. She experienced the upper as soft and flexible, but with slightly lower volume over the foot, which created a wrapped-in feel rather than a loose fit. Julia, who has narrow feet and low volume, described the shoe as comfortable and supple, with a good balance of softness and stability in the upper. She felt the volume was a bit generous for her foot, but that the fit still stayed secure thanks to good heel grip. Both Tilda and Julia highlight the flexibility of the sole and the completely unpadded, clear ground feel that delivers a truly barefoot sensation in a trendy, colourful, everyday-friendly shoe.
Care instructions:
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Suede shoes can be brushed with a suede brush designed for shoes to freshen the surface and lift the fibers. To protect the shoes against dirt and moisture, we recommend impregnating the shoes, e.g. with Collonil Organic Cover.
- Let the shoes dry at room temperature if they get wet; avoid direct heat such as radiators or strong sunlight.
