The model is CE-certified as occupational footwear and meets or exceeds the requirements of EN ISO 20347:2022+A1:2024 OB SR. The slip-resistant outsole has been tested according to ASTM F2913-19, and the shoe is also EH-rated according to ASTM F2892 for protection against electrical hazards under specified test conditions.
Please note that Hey Dude shoes are not barefoot shoes and have a drop of approximately 1 cm. The shoes have a straight toe line that gives the toes room to spread out. This makes them a good option for those who want to try a cushioned yet minimalist shoe, or for those who do not want a completely flat sole. The outsole is highly flexible in all directions, and the shoes are extremely lightweight.
