On-the-foot feel:
"I'm never taking these boots off!" These boots are incredibly stylish and well-made – and at the same time, very soft and comfortable on the feet. The shaft hugs the calf just right – like a warm embrace around the leg, without feeling too tight. Natalia has a normally wide and low-volume foot, as well as “average-sized” calves – the boots fit her perfectly. She finds the toe box very spacious. Adina has a wide and fairly high-volume foot, and the boots also fit her well. Her calves are a bit wider, so it’s a little snug to zip them up all the way. It works, but she’s unsure whether she could wear them with pants tucked in, or if that would be too tight. With a skirt or dress and tights, they would most likely work just fine. Overall, this model feels roomier around the foot than many other Groundies models. Since there are no seams at the front, the shoe allows for more width. A perfect boot to dress up in style!
Care instruction:
Designed in Germany. Manufactured in Portugal under strict European rules regarding health, safety, and quality.
Tip: Insert a barefoot wool insole to make the shoes warmer during the winter months.
Groundies Milena 2.0 is a high barefoot boot with a zipper. It’s made of leather and features a flexible TrueSense® Urban Classic outsole for excellent ground feel. The classic look pairs well with most outfits. For extra warmth in colder months, add a wool insole.
Groundies offers a barefoot-friendly toe box but a narrower last than many other barefoot brands, so these are best suited to narrow to normal-width feet.
