On-the-foot feel:
Iceland is a soft and cozy barefoot boot with a side zipper that makes it easy to put on and take off. The inside is lined with incredibly soft and warm material – it feels like slipping your foot into a slipper! The shoe is flexible, supple, and very comfortable to wear. On Natalia’s foot, which is medium-width and low volume, the fit is excellent – it wraps the foot nicely without any pressure and feels light. However, it doesn’t suit higher-volume feet that well. On Fanny’s foot, which is both wide and high, there isn’t quite enough space – especially over the instep, it feels too tight.
The outsole is soft and flexible, but it doesn’t provide much grip, so while the model works well in cold weather, it’s best suited for urban environments or areas without much ice and snow.
Care instructions:
- Regularly treat with a leather shoe spray such as Collonil Organic Cover for better protection from dirt and moisture, and to keep the leather soft and beautiful for a long time.

Groundies Iceland are stylish barefoot boots with a warm lining made of 100% wool. The soft suede leather is naturally water-repellent, and the TrueSense® GO1 sole is both thin and flexible. Iceland has a neutral look with elegant details, making it easy to pair with both dressier outfits and everyday wear.
Groundies Iceland has a narrower fit compared to many other barefoot shoes, so this model is best suited for narrow to medium-width feet.

How to Measure Your Feet: Place your foot inside a box with the heel against the edge or against a wall. Make sure you are standing and applying weight to your foot. Measure from the heel to the tip of the longest toe - this is your foot length. We recommend leaving 1–1.5 cm of extra space in front of the toes for a comfortable fit. Compare your measurement with the innershoe lengths below.
