Groundies Adelaide is a barefoot ankle boot with both laces and a side zipper. It’s made of leather and features a flexible TrueSense® Urban Classic outsole for great ground feel. The classic look with refined details pairs well with almost anything in your wardrobe. For extra warmth during colder months, add a wool insole.
Groundies offers a barefoot-friendly toe box but a narrower last than many other barefoot brands, so these are best suited to narrow to normal-width feet.

Measure your foot by placing it in a box or with your heel against a wall. Put weight on the foot and measure the length to the tip of the longest toe. This is the length of your foot. Add 1–1.5 cm to this measurement to find the correct shoe size. Compare it with the internal shoe measurements below.

Fit:
- Width: Suitable for narrow to wide feet
- Volume: Suitable for low to high foot
- Size: Fairly long in length, take your regular size or one size smaller.
Care instruction:
- Smoth leather: Clean the shoes with a damp cloth and let it dry. Regularly treat with a shoe cream, for ex: BeeVax or spray, for ex: Collonil Organic Cover to keep the leather in good condition and to protect the shoes better from dirt and moisture, for example:
- Nubuck leather: Same as the smooth leather but always treat with spray insted of shoe cream.
On.the-foot feel:
- Adelaide is crafted from exceptionally soft, supple leather—especially in the Coconut colour. The shoe hugs the foot securely with no pressure points. On Natalia’s low-volume, medium-width feet, the fit is spot on; she rates it among the most comfortable barefoot models she’s tried. Fanny’s feet are wide and high-volume, and Groundies rarely works for her—but this pair surprised her: easy step-in, a secure fit, and a roomy toe box. The adjustable lacing lets you open things up or cinch them to your shape, while the side zip makes on/off effortlessly smooth.

Tip: Insert a barefoot wool insole to make the shoes warmer during the winter months.
