To get the right size, do this: Measure your child's feet by placing the foot inside a box or with the heel against a wall. Let the child put weight on the foot and measure to the longest toe from the wall. This is the child's foot measurement. Since this model has a wool lining that takes up some space, we recommend adding a little more to the foot measurement than usual, about 1.5 - 2 cm, to get the right size. You can see the inside measurements of the shoe below. The inside measurements of the shoes are checked by us at Widetoes.
Please note that Froddo Zeru models are smaller in size than other shoes from Froddo (they run one size smaller than other Froddo shoes).

Flexible and thin outsole - the new Zeru outsole provides good grip thanks to the deep grooves in the sole. The sole looks thicker but is very thin and flexible in all directions!

On-the-foot feel:
A shoe that’s both practical and stylish! The leather and lining of the Zeru Tex Winter are very soft and gentle, and the shoe sits comfortably around the ankle. The outsole is the same as on the unlined Zeru Tex and the Viking Namsos models, so if those fit your child’s feet, this one is likely to be a great fit too. Selda, age 3, has a low and average-width foot, and this model fits her incredibly well. The shoe is easy to adjust thanks to sturdy velcro straps, and there’s plenty of room for wool socks. Elliot, also 3, has a high and average-width foot. The shoe fits well once it’s on, but getting it on takes a bit more effort. He says they feel good, don’t pinch, and he’s happy to run and jump in them. His foot measures 15.5 cm and he’s trying size 26 in this model. We note that going one size up would make them easier to put on and leave room for wool socks – which didn’t quite fit in the size we tested.
Froddo Zeru TEX are popular barefoot shoes that allow the feet to move naturally without restrictions. The wide toe box gives the toes space to spread out, and the flexible sole offers excellent muscle activation and the best conditions for good balance and motor skills during the child's play. The grooved outsole provides good grip on all types of surfaces.
Care instructions: Wipe with a damp cloth. We recommend treatment with Collonil Protect & Care spray before the shoes are used and then regularly during use to maintain their water-repellent membrane.
The fit of Froddo Zeru TEX Winter is for normal to wide feet. The volume is suitable for low to normal/high feet. Thanks to the Velcro, the barefoot shoes can be easily put on by the child themselves, and the fit can be adjusted.
