Froddo UP TEX Winter is new for the 2025 season. Froddo’s new UP collection is designed with extra volume over the instep – perfect for children with a high arch. Otherwise, the model is the same as the classic Tex Winter: water-repellent barefoot winter shoes for kids, keeping feet warm and dry in all weather conditions. The ideal pair for late autumn, winter, and early spring – durable enough for active play in the snow.
The toe box is wide, and the sole is soft and flexible. The high shaft prevents snow from entering, while the warm lining ensures comfort even on cold winter days. The protective FroddoTEX membrane is water-repellent, keeping moisture out. Two Velcro straps make dressing quick and allow for a perfectly adjustable fit.

Material:
- Upper material – Leather + Froddo TEX membrane
- Lining and insole – Wool blend; 70% wool, 30% synthetic, The shoes are best suited from around +5 to minus -15 degrees Celsius, and on cold days, you can pair them with a wool sock if the child's feet tend to get cold.
- Outsole, Lifolit®, rubber

Fit and size advice:
- Suitable for narrow to wide feet
- Suitable for low to high foot. Thanks to the double Velcro straps, the volume can be easily adjusted and the shoes are easy to put on.
- Froddo's shoes are slightly large in size. Refer to the size chart before purchasing.
On- the- foot feel:
This shoe is made from soft, comfortable materials, and the wool lining wraps gently around the foot and ankle. Thanks to the velcro straps, the shoes open up fully and are easy to adjust for the right fit. Elliot, age 3, has high-volume, regular-width feet. His foot is 15.5 cm long, and size 26 (17 cm) is just right for him. He can easily put the shoes on and take them off all by himself. He runs and jumps and says they feel really comfy – nothing pinches or feels tight anywhere. During testing, these were Elliot’s absolute favourites – although it’s hard to say if his opinion was based on the perfect fit or the awesome colour.
Care-instructions:
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth. We recommend treating the shoes with Collonil Organic Cover before first use and reapplying regularly to maintain water resistance.
Froddo UP TEX Winter barefoot shoes for children allow feet to move naturally thanks to the wide toe box and flexible 5 mm outsole. The insole is also made of wool with an extra layer of aluminum to effectively keep the cold at bay.
