These Froddo TEX Winter shoes are the same model as the Froddo TEX Winter water-repellent winter shoes 2024. Froddo has updated the outsole materials on most models, which is why we now have a new product page for the latest TEX Winter version.
Froddo TEX Winter are water-repellent barefoot winter shoes for children, designed to keep feet warm and dry in all kinds of weather. The perfect pair for late autumn, winter, and early spring – durable enough for active play in the snow. The wide toe box and soft, flexible sole ensure natural movement. The high shaft keeps snow out, while the warm lining protects little feet even on cold winter days. The protective FroddoTEX membrane is water-repellent, preventing water from entering the shoe.

Measure your child's foot by placing the heel against a wall or inside a box and measuring to the longest toe. Add 1.2-1.8 cm to this measurement to get the correct size. Remember to take a size large enough if the shoes are to be used with wool socks. The inside measurements of the shoe are shown below.

Material:
- Upper material – Leather + Froddo TEX membrane
- Lining and insole – Wool blend; 70% wool, 30% synthetic (The shoes are best suited from around +5 to minus -15 degrees Celsius, and on cold days, you can pair them with a wool sock if the child's feet tend to get cold.)
- Outsole – Lifolit®, Rubber. 5 mm.

Fit and size advice:
- Suitable for narrow to wide feet
- Suitable for low to high foot. Thanks to the double Velcro straps, the volume can be easily adjusted and the shoes are easy to put on.
- Froddo's shoes are slightly large in size. Refer to the size chart before purchasing.
On-the-foot feel:
This shoe is made from soft and comfortable materials – the wool lining wraps gently around the foot and ankle for a cozy feel. Thanks to the velcro straps, the shoes are easy to open up fully and adjust for the right fit. Elliot, age 3, has a high and average-width foot. This model goes on easily for him, but once on, it fits quite snugly across the top of the foot. There wouldn’t be enough room for thicker socks. His foot measures 15.5 cm, and size 26 (17 cm) fits him well. He can also take them on and off completely by himself. Maria, 4 years old, has a low and narrow foot. These shoes fit her perfectly – she could easily wear them with wool socks as well. Just like Elliot, she finds them easy to put on and take off. Maria’s foot measures 15.5 cm, and she’s trying on the same size as Elliot. Maria loves these shoes, and out of all the models she tries on during this visit, these are her absolute favourites.
Care-instructions:
- Clean the fabric by using a damp cloth. Spray before use and regularly thereafter with for example Collonil Organic Cover to maintain the water-repellentmembrane and protect the shoes from dirt.
