The toe box is wide so that the toes can spread out well in the shoes, without anything pinching them. The sole is really flexible and pliable, making it easy even for a small child's foot to bend at the big toe joint, which is important at the toe-off in the step. The sole is completely flat, and the feeling in these shoes is like walking barefoot with high sensory input from the ground. This makes the child aware of the surface and improves balance. With these barefoot shoes, the child uses their foot naturally, strengthening the foot muscles and keeping the joints flexible. The outsole is made of eco-friendly rubber, providing good grip and durability. The leather in the barefoot shoes was made without the use of chrome.
