BREJD Skata Chelsea is a classic, clean-lined unisex boot with a wide toe box, flat zero-drop sole and silky-soft leather that follows the foot’s natural movement. The foot-shaped design and soft materials make Skata a comfortable shoe that feels good on your feet all day long. Two interchangeable insoles are included, so you can choose between a close-to-the-ground barefoot feel or extra cushioning.
The shoes are made in Portugal from high-quality leather and are just as suitable for everyday wear and work as they are for more festive occasions. Skata is made to be worn for a long time, age beautifully and feel like an obvious choice year after year.

Care instructions:
- Wipe off dirt with a soft, damp cloth and let the shoes air-dry at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight and strong heat sources when drying and storing.
- Apply waterproofing regularly to maintain the water-repellent properties of the leather and seams – for example Collonil Organic Cover.
- Use a suitable shoe cream to care for and nourish the leather, preserve its suppleness and extend the life of the shoes. With us you’ll find, for example, Kållby Honung Bivaxsalva and Collonil Shoe Cream, both great options for leather care.
BREJD Skata Chelsea is made in Portugal at a small shoe factory with good working conditions, using carefully selected leather with a focus on durability and beautiful ageing. The brand BREJD, founded in 2026 in Ostrobothnia by Widetoes, takes its name from the local dialect word for “wide” – the shoes are characterised by an anatomically wide toe box in soft leather and two included insoles, so you can choose between a true barefoot feel or extra comfort and cushioning.
Our Chelsea boot Skata is named after the historic Skata district in Jakobstad. The area is known for its well-preserved wooden houses, narrow streets and strong character – shaped by quality, craftsmanship and a style that has stood the test of time.
These are exactly the qualities we’ve tried to capture in the design. The result is a classic, minimalist Chelsea boot with a look that feels relevant year after year.
Just like the district it’s named after, Skata is made to be worn for a long time and become more beautiful with age.
