The BAAK Pegasus is a safety boot designed for exceptional comfort and freedom of movement. It features an extra-wide fit, a spacious aluminium toecap, and a flat, flexible sole with zero drop — giving your feet the room they need to move naturally. If you're used to traditional footwear, a removable insole with a 7 mm heel lift is included for added comfort.
BAAK Pegasus features a higher cut that provides added ankle support and is well suited for outdoor use as well as wet and demanding environments. It’s ideal for industries such as construction, agriculture, and manufacturing. The boot meets the latest safety standard EN ISO 20345:2024 (S3S FO HRO SR ESD), offering features like puncture resistance, excellent slip resistance, antistatic protection, and a heat-resistant outsole.

Baak work shoes are classified by the brand itself as barefoot footwear. The sole offers good flexibility but is slightly thicker than that of traditional barefoot shoes in order to meet safety standards. Feel on the foot:
- The BAAK shoes were tested by several people with very different foot shapes, and we were positively surprised that the fit worked well for everyone. The shoes felt comfortable without pinching or feeling loose. Julia, who has a narrow and low-volume foot, found the fit excellent. Heidi, with a higher and wider foot, preferred the BAAK Pegasus over the lower-cut BAAK Phoenix, as the higher shaft provided a better fit around the heel.
- This highlights a well-thought-out design, with a roomy toe box and good adjustability over the instep, while the shoe still sits close to the foot thanks to the soft inner lining. Victoria, who has a low and medium-width foot, notes that the outsole is slightly thicker than on traditional barefoot shoes, but remains flexible – for example when squatting, the shoe bends naturally with the foot without pressing down from above. If you usually wear barefoot shoes and are looking for a protective or work shoe, this is a very solid choice.
