On-foot feel

• Wow – the comfort is outstanding! These shoes feel incredibly comfortable and slightly roomier than other Altra models. Lina, who usually wears size EU 37.5 in Altra, fits perfectly in size 37 in the Torin 8 – so you may be able to size down by half compared to your other Altra shoes (fit is quite similar to the Escalante Racer).

• The cushioning is excellent – responsive and energetic without being overly soft. You still get solid ground connection, which many runners appreciate, especially if they are used to a barefoot-like feel.
