Hit the trails in the Altra Experience Wild 3+ GTX! This is a waterproof running shoe built for mixed terrain and changing weather, featuring GORE-TEX Invisible Fit to keep your feet dry in rain, slush and wet conditions. The shoes have a wide toe box and an Altra EGO™ P35 midsole with 28 mm/32 mm cushioning, giving a 4 mm drop, for a soft yet responsive ride.
The Vibram® Megagrip outsole with TractionLug delivers secure grip and stability on wet roots, rocks and muddy ground. The lightweight upper features flexible TPU overlays, while a soft, breathable tongue and padded collar provide a comfortable, locked-in fit. Reflective details also enhance visibility in low light.
Please note that the Experience Wild 3+ GTX is not a barefoot shoe, but it does have a wide toe box that gives your toes plenty of room.

Measure your feet (with your heel against a wall, up to your longest toe). Add 1–1.5 cm of extra space and follow the measurements in the size chart.
Example: Your foot length is 25 cm. Choose size 41 to get approximately 1.2 cm of extra room.

Care instructions:
- Let the shoes dry at room temperature after use in wet conditions; avoid direct heat such as radiators or drying cabinets to protect the GORE-TEX membrane and adhesives
- Brush off dirt and mud with a soft brush once the shoes are dry, and wipe the upper with a damp cloth if needed
- Remove the insoles after very wet runs to speed up drying and reduce the risk of odour
Altra Experience Wild 3+ GTX is designed for trail running in varied weather and terrain, from dry paths to wet and slushy ground. GORE-TEX Invisible Fit provides waterproof protection, while Altra’s Standard FootShape Fit with a wide toe box gives plenty of room for the forefoot and toes.
Despite the waterproof membrane, the shoe is lightweight and keeps a nimble running feel – the men’s model weighs only approx. 322 g. A great choice if you’re looking for a light, grippy trail shoe with waterproof protection for changing conditions.
