Altra Experience Flow 3 - an extremely lightweight running shoe. The Experience Flow 3 is a lightweight and smooth road running shoe designed for comfort and a cushioned ride. This updated version features a new breathable mesh upper and a redesigned heel collar that improves fit and step-in comfort. The midsole is made with Altra EGO™ P35, delivering a light, responsive feel and efficient energy return with every stride.
With a 4 mm drop and a roomy toe box, Experience Flow 3 gives the foot plenty of freedom of movement – perfect for faster sessions, longer runs, and comfortable everyday wear. Please note that Altra shoes are not barefoot shoes – they are cushioned, lightweight running shoes with a natural fit.

Measure your feet (with your heel against a wall, up to your longest toe). Add 1–1.5 cm of extra space and follow the measurements in the size chart.
Example: Your foot length is 25 cm. Choose size 41 to get approximately 1.2 cm of extra room.

On-foot feel
According to our team members who have tested them, the shoes run true to size. Lina has a wide, medium-height foot and wears her usual size (37). At first, the shoes feel slightly snug, especially over the midfoot, but from experience she knows they will give a little after some use. Despite her wide foot, there is plenty of room in the toe box.
The shoes are incredibly lightweight and feel like a model you can comfortably run long distances in. The midsole is both soft and responsive, and the 4 mm drop is not noticeable at all while running. Experience Flow 3 is a clear favorite for Lina when it comes to road running.
