Fit and size advice:
- Note: Affenzahn shoes have a narrower fit. Suitable for narrow to normal-width and low to normal-height feet. A wide or high foot does not fit in this shoe.
- True to size, but follow the size chart.
On-the-foot feel:
- This model is really easy for kids to put on and take off by themselves. A soft lining wraps comfortably around the foot and feels nice against the skin. Maria, age 4, has low-volume, narrow feet. Her foot is 15.5 cm long, and size 26 (17.1 cm) fits her well. This model – and actually all Affenzahn shoes we've tried so far – fit her feet perfectly. Elliot, age 3, has regular-width, high-volume feet. His foot is also 15.5 cm, and size 26 (17.1 cm) is good lengthwise. However, this model is too low over the instep for him and very tight to get on. His foot does go in eventually, but the fit just isn’t ideal for his foot shape.
Care instructions: We recommend treating with Collonil Protect & Care spray to maintain the water-resistant membrane.
