KayakStorm (Lucília, Vieira & Lima, Lda) is a family-owned shoe manufacturer based in Romariz, Feira – a traditional center of the Portuguese shoe industry, just 30 km south of Porto. Since its inception in 2001, the company has combined craftsmanship and innovation to produce just under 200,000 pairs of shoes per year, always in compliance with European labor and environmental standards.

KayakStorm specialises in several manufacturing techniques, including moccasin, boat model, Strobel and cemented construction, and offers a wide size range from EU size 20 to 50. A significant part of the range is now organic – with an Eco Shoe collection that includes vegan, biodegradable and upcycled models for private label customers. Barefoot shoes are also a growing and successful segment within the company’s offering.

The company has been GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified since July 2024 and is actively working to reduce its climate impact – including by generating two-thirds of its electricity with on-site solar panels. More than 95% of all materials come from the EU, of which over 80% from Portugal, making production both local and sustainable.

Exporting to over 35 countries in Africa, Europe, America and Asia, KayakStorm regularly participates in leading trade fairs such as Micam Milano, Neonyt, Gallery Shoes and Expo Riva Schuh. All products are developed in-house, giving full control over both quality and design.
