Incredibly lightweight
Fit and size advice:
Length: True to size - take your regular size in these but follow the size chart below
Width: Suitable for a narrow to wide foot
Volume: Suitable for a low to normal-height foot
Toe shape: Steep slope from the big toe down to the other toes. If you have a foot where the second and third toes are as long as the big toe, you may need to go one size larger for more room on the pinky toe side.
Vivobarefoot Primus Trail III FG barefoot shoes are a popular trail shoe perfect for trail running, outdoor activities, or hiking. It has an outsole that provides excellent grip in forests and fields, on both wet and dry surfaces. The sole is thin and flexible, offering excellent ground contact. The shoe weight is low, and the feeling is like having nothing on your feet in these barefoot shoes! The upper is made of a water-resistant material, so Primus Trail is the perfect pair of shoes even when it's wet and cold outside. The upper features a soft breathable textile with reinforcements made of recycled PET bottles around the toes and on the inner and outer sides of the shoe. Primus Trail can be adjusted for a good fit thanks to the quick-lace fastening, providing a tight fit around the ankle while the toe box offers plenty of space for the toes to move freely.
Care instructions: Hand wash the shoes with, for example, Colloni Bamboo lotion and regularly spray with Collonil Protect & Care to extend the durability and maintain the water-resistant membrane.
Size chart
Note that Primus Lite is available as a men's and women's model. The only difference is that the women's model is slightly narrower, while the men's model is slightly wider. Men with narrow feet can therefore choose the women's model and women with wide feet the men's model.
Here's how to choose the right size: Measure your foot. Place your heel against a wall and measure to the longest toe. This is your foot measurement. Add 0.6-1.5 cm to this measurement to determine your size. Note that when you train with the shoes, your feet get warm and swell slightly, so ideally choose near 1 cm of extra room, or slightly more. Check the size chart below (we have measured the sole here at Widetoes).
Example: Your foot measurement is 23.5 cm. Then choose size 37 (24.5 cm) and you will have 1 cm of extra room.
These measurements have been verified by us at Widetoes.
