The Altra Torin 9 Gore-Tex is a comfortable running shoe for those who appreciate soft cushioning and high comfort on asphalt and other hard surfaces – now with Gore-Tex for extra protection against rain, moisture and wind. The stretchy upper with Gore-Tex Invisible Fit provides a comfortable and enveloping fit, while the shoe maintains good breathability.
The Torin 9 Gore-Tex also features a contoured heel and updated tongue details for a soft, comfortable feel. Compared to its predecessor, the Torin 8, the model features a completely new midsole made of innovative dual-density P35X™ foam. The foam is firmer on the outside and softer on the inside, providing a stable, well-cushioned running feel.
The outsole is updated to Vibram® XS Run AW rubber, which provides about 20% more grip than the outsole on the Torin 8. The Torin 9 naturally features Altra's wide toe box, so your toes have plenty of room without being squeezed together during your run. With a sole thickness of 28 mm, you get a nice cushioned feel, while the zero drop construction provides a completely flat sole from heel to toe for a more natural foot position.

Measure your feet (with your heel against a wall, up to your longest toe). Add 1-1.5 cm for extra room inside the shoes and follow the size information in the size chart.
Example: Your foot measurement is 27.7 cm. Choose size 44.5 and you will have 1.1 cm extra.
