Altra Torin 8 is the perfect road running shoe if you’re looking for comfort and plush cushioning. The upper has been updated with lightweight, breathable jacquard mesh. With zero drop and a roomy toe box, the Torin 8 gives your feet natural freedom of movement – ideal for daily runs, long-distance training, or simply as an everyday shoe.
Please note: Altra shoes are not barefoot shoes, but cushioned, lightweight running shoes.

Size chart:
Measure your feet (with your heel against a wall, up to your longest toe). Add 1-1.5 cm for extra room inside the shoes and follow the size information in the size chart.
Example: Your foot size is 25.2. Then choose size 41 and you will have 1.2 cm extra.

On-foot feel
- Wow – the comfort is outstanding! These shoes feel incredibly comfortable and slightly roomier than other Altra models. Lina, who usually wears size EU 37.5 in Altra, fits perfectly in size 37 in the Torin 8 – so you may be able to size down by half compared to your other Altra shoes (fit is quite similar to the Escalante Racer).
- The cushioning is excellent – responsive and energetic without being overly soft. You still get solid ground connection, which many runners appreciate, especially if they are used to a barefoot-like feel. The Torin 8 is a perfect choice for runners seeking comfort, performance, and a natural stride.
