The Affenzahn Low Boot Knit is a barefoot shoe for children, ideal for spring and fall when the temperature is cooler. It features a waterproof membrane and a grip-friendly sole, perfect for outdoor play in any weather. The shoe has a soft textile lining and Velcro straps for quick and easy fastening. An animal figure on the back helps children put the correct shoe on the correct foot. Affenzahn is a popular barefoot shoe with a wide toe box and a flat, zero-drop sole.
Please note that Affenzahn barefoot shoes are best suited for narrow to normal-width feet.

Affenzahn Low Boot knit, Tex Mid Boot
To get the right size, do this:
Measure your child's feet by placing the foot inside a box or with the heel against a wall. Let the child put weight on the foot and measure from the wall to the longest toe. This is the child's foot measurement. Add 1 – 1.8 cm to this measurement to get the correct size. The inside measurements of the shoe are shown below.

My daughter has been wearing these shoes for over a month now and they have never let her down. Whether it’s running through puddles, climbing rocks or cycling – her feet always stay warm and dry. Her toes are protected and her heels are securely in place, just like they should be. The shoes have lots of fun details that help her always put them on the right foot. They are also really easy to keep clean. I can’t imagine better shoes for my daughter!

It was love at first sight with these shoes, and my daughter, 6 years old, refused any others. I was afraid they would be too narrow for her normal-width feet. We chose a size with about 1.5 cm extra and they fit perfectly and felt good on her feet. She loves the little detail with the figure at the back, so you can see which shoe goes on which foot. The membranes on these are very good and they seem to withstand an incredible amount, both water and mud puddles without even getting dirty! We sprayed them before use.
