Primus Trail II FG is Vivobarefoot's classic barefoot shoe for those who want to move outdoors in forest and terrain - with shoes that provide good grip even when it's wet outside. Primus Trail is suitable for running, outdoor activities, and walks when you want a comfortable barefoot feel. The shoes have a grip-friendly terrain sole and an upper made of water-repellent material. Tighten the quick-lock and enjoy nature - all year round!

Please note that Primus Trail is available in men's and women's models. The only difference is that the women's model is slightly narrower while the men's model is slightly wider. Men with narrow feet can therefore choose the women's model and women with wide feet the men's model.
To choose the right size, do this : Measure your foot. Place your heel against a wall and measure to the longest toe. This is your foot size. Add 0.6-1.5 cm to this measurement to know which size to choose. Keep in mind that when you exercise in the shoes, your feet get warm and swell a little, so choose closer to 1 cm extra, or slightly more. Check the size chart below (we have measured the sole here at Widetoes).

Fit and size advice:
Length: True to size - take your usual size, but refer to the size chart below
Width: Suitable for narrow to wide feet
Volume: Suitable for low to moderately high feet
Toe shape: Steeply sloping from the big toe down towards the other toes. If your second and third toes are as long as your big toe, you may need to go one size larger to accommodate the lateral side.
The Vivobarefoot Primus Trail II FG barefoot shoe is a popular trail shoe perfect for trail running, outdoor activities, or hiking. It features an outsole that provides excellent grip in woods and fields, on both wet and dry surfaces. The sole is thin and flexible, offering great ground contact. The shoe weight is low, giving the sensation of wearing nothing on your feet with these barefoot shoes!
The upper is made of a water-resistant material, making the Primus Trail the perfect pair of shoes for wet and cold weather. The upper has a soft, breathable textile with reinforcements made from recycled PET bottles around the toes and on the inner and outer sides of the shoe. The Primus Trail can be adjusted for a good fit thanks to the quick-lace system, offering a snug fit around the ankle while the toe box provides ample room for toes to move freely.
Care instructions: Hand wash the shoes with products such as Colloni Bamboo lotion and regularly spray with Collonil Protect & Care to prolong durability and maintain the water-resistant membrane.
