Measure the child's feet by placing the foot inside a box or with the heel against a wall. Let the child put weight on the foot and measure up to the longest toe from the wall. This is the child's foot measurement. Add 1–1.5 cm to this measurement to get the right size. It is not advantageous to buy shoes with more than 2.0 cm extra space for immediate use.
