Fit and size advice:

Length: True to size - take your regular size in these, but follow the size chart below
Width: Suitable for narrow to wide feet
Volume: Suitable for low to normal height feet
Toe shape: Steeply sloping from the big toe down to the other toes. If you have feet where the second and third toes are as long as the big toe, you might need to go a size larger to have space on the little toe side.

Vivobarefoot Primus Trail III SG barefoot shoes are a favored trail shoe perfect for trail running, outdoor or hiking. This shoe has an outsole that provides extra good grip in forests and on terrain, on both wet and dry surfaces. The sole is thin and flexible with excellent ground contact. The upper is made out of a water-resistant material so Primus Trail are perfect shoes even when it is wet and cold outside. The upper has a soft breathable textile with reinforcements made from recycled PET bottles around the toes and on the inner and outer sides of the shoe. Primus Trail can be adjusted to a great fit thanks to the quick-lock lacing - you get a snug fit around the ankle while the toe box provides ample space for toes to move freely.

Care instructions: Hand wash the shoes, for example, with Colloni Bamboo lotion and spray regularly with Collonil Protect & Care to extend durability and maintain the water-resistant membrane.

Note that Primus Trail is available in men's and women's models. The only difference is that the women's model is slightly narrower while the men's model is slightly wider. Men with narrow feet can therefore opt for the women's model, and women with wide feet can choose the men's model.

Here's how to select the right size: Measure your foot. Place the heel against a wall and measure up to the longest toe. This is your foot measurement. Add 0.6-1.5 cm to this measurement to know which size to choose. Keep in mind that when exercising with the shoes, your feet will warm up and swell slightly, so preferably choose closer to 1 cm extra or slightly more. Check the size chart below (measured by us here at Widetoes).

Example: If your foot measurement is 26.2 cm, then select size 41 (27.2 cm) to have 1 cm extra space.
