Feel on the foot:
Superior fits so well on the foot! This updated model of Superior 7 is noticeably made with more volume than the previous Superior 6 model. The shoes are still the narrowest of our Altra models. Lina has a wide and normal-high foot and her foot fits really well in these shoes. She initially feels it is a bit tight over the instep, but tries loosening the laces and finds that the adjustment helps a lot. Lina would take her usual size in this one. Fanny has a high and wide foot and this model is too tight over the instep for her. So if you have that combination of foot shapes, this model will likely be too tight for you. If you want a roomier shoe with the same grippy lugs as this one, we recommend trying the model Lone Peak 9+ or Lone Peak 9+ Wide instead.
