Care instructions:

• Treat the shoes regularly to ensure they stay good-looking longer and keep dirt and moisture away! For shoes with a nubuck leather surface, we recommend treating with an impregnation spray, such as this one from Collonil: Organic Cover. For smooth leather, we recommend cream or beeswax, such as this one: Collonil Organic Cream or Kållby Honung Beeswax

On-the-foot feel:

• “Wow, what a comfy shoe!” This feels like a very well-made winter boot—soft and flexible underfoot. The fit is generous in both width and volume. On Fanny’s wide, high-volume feet, the boots sit really well. She usually wears EU 40, but in this model EU 39 is a better match. The long lacing lets you dial in the fit just the way you like, while the side zip makes on/off easy. The soft lining cocoons the foot, and the insole has a slight “cushion” feel—if that’s not your preference, it’s easy to swap. Storm Gale is a great addition to the winter wardrobe!
