• The hemp used in the material is an organic raw material and is naturally antibacterial. The hemp is also durable and absorbs moisture well.

Fit:

• Width: Suitable for a normal to wide foot
• Volume: Suitable for a low to normal/high arch - the shoes are spacious in both width and height. If the child has a low and narrow foot or narrow ankle, the shoe may start to slip at the heel.

Feel on foot:

• The shoe looks like a regular Kuoma shoe, but appearances can be deceiving! This shoe has a really lovely barefoot feeling. The toe box is spacious and the sole is both flat and flexible. The toe box is spacious, and the sole is both flat (only 0.4 mm drop) and flexible. The grip is excellent, and the inside is soft and warm against the skin. Maria, age 4, has low-volume, narrow feet. Her foot is 15.5 cm long, and size 26 (17 cm) fits her well. The shoe feels fairly roomy on her, but she absolutely loves it. She runs and jumps with ease, and the shoes stay on nicely – though they’d probably fit even better with a thicker sock. Elliot, age 3, has high-volume, regular-width feet. His foot is also 15.5 cm, and size 26 (17 cm) is a great fit. This model works really well for his foot shape, and he can put them on and take them off by himself. He runs and jumps and says they feel really comfy. Out of all the winter models Maria tried, this one is her favourite!

Care instructions:

• The shoes can be washed in the machine on a wool wash, max 30 degrees. Remove the insole before washing, use a washing bag and avoid spinning. The shoes can be dried in a drying cabinet, but avoid very high temperatures. Max 30 degrees is preferred (the shoes are no less durable than other Kuoma shoes, but no shoe likes excessively high temperatures).
