Be Lenka's Trailwalker is a wonderful novelty for those of us who love the outdoors, training, and hiking and want to combine it with a pair of lightweight barefoot shoes. Trailwalker is flexible, comfortable, and lightweight - like wearing nothing on your feet - yet they are durable shoes made of hard-wearing leather. The thin 4 mm outsole provides good grip on the terrain thanks to the grooves in the sole. The sole is very soft and flexible, offering good contact with the ground, yet still protecting from sharp stones on the ground. The toe box is wonderfully wide at the front, allowing the toes to spread so that the big toe can be active in the push-off. Feet can move naturally, and since nothing pinches or chafes in these soft shoes, they feel really comfortable on the feet even after a long day outdoors.
The substantial loop at the back of the shoes makes putting them on easier, and the shoes can be attached outside the backpack to save space in the bag when traveling. The upper is made of durable high-quality leather that provides good protection against water splashes. I usually use my Trailwalkers for both trail running and hiking in the forest, but they are not specifically designed for running, and the sole may wear out faster if you choose to run with them.
Tip: Regularly spray the shoes with water-repellent spray made for leather surfaces to keep them nice and dry for longer. Dirt can be brushed off the shoes after use once they have dried.

Be Lenka Trailwalker
To choose the right size, do this : Measure your foot. Place your heel against a wall and measure to the longest toe. This is your foot size. Add 1-1.8 cm to this measurement to know which size to choose. Since Trailwalker is intended for use when you are active and your foot swells a little, it is a good idea to take a lot of space in the shoes. In addition, Trailwalker is quite low over the toes at the front, so if you have a space that is too small, you may start to feel your toes moving in the shoes.
Example: Your foot size is 25 cm. Choose size 41 (26.6 cm) and you will have 1.6 cm extra space in your shoes.
