Head out on your next trail run in Altra Experience Wild! This is a lightweight running shoe with a grip-friendly sole and a wide toe box. Experience Wild is a new type of trail shoe designed to handle long distances on hilly terrain or fast-paced runs to steep mountain tops. The shoes have a cushioning of 26mm/30mm, with a 4mm drop to complement an efficient push-off and a smooth, quick roll through your stride. These shoes are incredibly comfortable!
Please note that Experience Wild is not a barefoot shoe, but it is lightweight and has a wide toe box that accommodates all toes while offering comfortable cushioning.

Altra Experience Wild - Dam
To get the right size, do this: Measure your feet from heel to toe (e.g. with your heel against a wall and measure to the longest toe.) This is your foot measurement. Add about 0.8-1.5 cm extra room to get the right size. Keep in mind that you may want to have a lot of extra room in running shoes because your feet swell when you get hot during exercise.
These measurements are checked by Widetoes and indicate the insole dimensions:

Feel on the foot: A very soft and comfortable shoe with plenty of cushioning! Tilda, who has a fairly narrow and normal-height foot, usually wears size 39 in her shoes. In this model, size 40 feels suitable, confirming that the shoes run small. We in the staff who have tried the shoes feel like we're "skipping" forward in them, the EVA foam midsole feels incredibly soft!
