To get the right size, do this:
Measure your child's feet by placing the foot inside a box or with the heel against a wall. Let the child put weight on the foot and measure from the wall to the longest toe. This is the child's foot measurement. Add 1 – 1.8 cm to this measurement to get the correct size. The inside measurements of the shoe are shown below.

Fit and size advice:
Note: Affenzahn shoes have a narrower fit. Suitable for narrow to normal-width and low to normal-height feet. A wide or high foot does not fit in this shoe. True to size, but refer to the size chart.
On-the-foot feel:
"Our Affenzahn shoes have become one of the favourites in our home". Selda, age 3, has a low and average-width foot, and most Affenzahn models – including this one – fit her feet very well. They’re easy for her to take on and off by herself, and have become a go-to choice for daycare. Elliot, also 3 years old, has a high and average-width foot. His foot measures 15.5 cm and he is trying size 27 in this model (with 1.5 cm extra space). The shoes go on easily, and he jumps and runs around – but soon says they feel tight. It’s unclear exactly where he feels the pressure, but something bothers him, and he wants to take them off. This model is best suited for chilly autumn and spring days, or for milder winter weather.
The Affenzahn Mid Boot Comfy is a waterproof winter shoe for children in sizes 21-32. It features double Velcro straps at the front. It has a waterproof membrane but the membrane should not be compared to a rubber boot in terms of water resistance.
Care instructions: We recommend using Collonil Protect & Care spray to maintain the shoe's waterproof membrane.
